According to Barna Research Group, a third of practising Christians have not been engaging with online church services since the start of lockdown. The proportion of Christians who have stopped attending virtual church services is alarmingly higher among the younger generations. For example, over half of the millennials surveyed admitted that they were not interested in the digital services.  Pray that the churches continue to reach out to the next generation effectively, and in particular during the pandemic.

National & International Situations
Attacks on Christians and their places of worship in India continued to escalate in both number and severity in 2020. United Christian Forum in India reported that the attacks were perpetrated by mobs objecting to Christians holding worship services. India’s national lockdown in response to the COVID-19 pandemic has slowed down the number of attacks on Christians, but such attacks will likely return when the lockdown is eventually lifted. Please pray for God's protection on His people and for the relevant government to intervene and uphold justice.

- Friday Night FOCUS will take a few more weeks to return. Our students are more timid and less social at this time. It is hard to know how to contact our East Asian non-Christian friends when UTAS is doing everything online. We will try to work through friendship networks and connect with other educational institutions.
- another challenge to face is Yi's financial support. He has decided to take a substantial pay cut, which will be difficult for him and his family. However, Yi is keen to keep working hard at this less glamorous aspect of ministry.
