2023 has arrived. Thank you God for bringing us to a new year.
When God created the world, He created the Sun and Moon so that our earth has time, four seasons, years, months, days, evenings and mornings. Only then will we have the concept of time and year. If there are no time and seasons human life is so meaningless. Every day, every month, every year is the same. Thank God for giving us a variation and a new start, so that we can have meaning in life.
2023 is another opportunity for a new start. We can plan again, learn and try again. If you did not do well last year, you can make a better effort this year. If you did not learn well, you can plan to study this year.
What are your plans for this year? You may think at the beginning of every year, there are a bunch of plans, but at the end of the year, it may be disappointing because we did not achieve them.
But this year, can we work harder? Relying on the wisdom and experience God has given us, we try to set goals that are more feasible and maintainable, because we know ourselves and God better than last year.
This year, after I prayed, I decided to establish a habit of reading every day, hoping to stimulate my thoughts. I will continue to have quiet time every day to get closer to God. I will learn some things that I wanted to study before, such as psychology and counselling. I plan to work together with brothers and sisters in the church, encouraging each other, with God’s help, to make disciples.
2022 was a difficult year for everyone, but in 2023 let us rely on God so that we can live a more meaningful and brighter year.

2023年已經來臨了，感恩神带领我們進入新的一年。
神在創世的時候，就創造了太陽月亮，讓我們的地球有節令，有四季，有年、月、日，有晚上，有早晨。我們也才會有時間和年份的觀念。如果沒有節令、四季、年份，人的生活是多麽的沒有意思。每天，每月，每年都一樣。感謝神給我們有變化，有新的開始，這樣才有生活的樂趣及意義。
2023年是一個新開始的機會，我們可以又重新再來，重新計劃，重新學習及嘗試。去年沒做好的，今年可以再接再勵，以前沒學好的，今年可以計劃學習。
今年你有什麼計劃呢？可能你會想，每年在年初時都有一堆計劃，但可能到年底時都是失望，因為我們沒有做好。
但今年是否可以努力一下，靠著神給我們的智慧及經驗，我們嘗試定下更可行也更有能力堅持的目標，因為我們應當比去年更認識自己，也更認識神。
今年我在禱告後，決定定下今年的計劃是：每天讀書。希望藉此能激發我的思想；並且每天繼續有安靜的時間，與神親近。今年我也打算要學一些以前很想學的東西，譬如心理學、輔導等。同時間繼續學習在教會怎樣與弟兄姊妹同工，與神同工，把門徒栽培進一步實踐在教會中。學習如何更深入地牧養弟兄姊妹，彼此鼓勵，一起同走天路。
2022年，是大家都不容易的一年，但2023年讓我們倚靠著神，過一個更有意義，更光輝燦爛，更有生命力的一年。
