Apart from sightseeing, listening to the sermons of the Hong Kong Bible Conference has been a highlight of my holiday.

今次我的假間除了觀光以外，最精彩是收看港九培靈研經會的講道。十天的港九培靈研經會https://www.hkbibleconference.org/ 由三位講者主講，每個講員大致是一天分享一堂。感謝近年來的變更、包括新冠的原因而使全世界的信徒亦能個人在網上參與，並且其中一位講員是講英語的。

人要想被改變是不容易的，固有的思維模式常常限制了人的想像力和接受改變的能力。就像出埃及記裡曠野中的以色列人，雖然他們看見神的大能作為，也經歷了神信實的供應，卻仍然沒有學會信靠神的功課，面對挑戰和試探，他們只能從常規思維思考，缺乏對神的信心，最終錯失跟隨神進入迦南美地的祝福。

「摩西何時舉手, 以色列人就得勝, 何時垂手, 亞瑪力人就得勝。」出17:11在今天的講道經文（出埃及記17）中，我們讀到以色列人與亞瑪力人的爭戰，以及一個非常重要的觀察，即以色列的勝負不是由雙方的相對實力決定的，也不是由他們各自戰略的優劣決定的，而是取決於摩西是否在俯視這場戰鬥的山上舉手。
