Looking forward to see all members at the Annual Congregational Meeting at 10:30am today. And I would like to introduce the wife of a CPC pastor with you.
Iris has been serving in campus ministry since 2016 and initially it was with her husband, Pastor Arthur. She is also a wife and looks after their daughter, Stephanie who is now working. Below is the interview between Iris and I.
D: What do you and Arthur enjoy doing as a couple?
I: Arthur and I both love food, especially Japanese food. We like exploring new Japanese restaurants 🍱 in Sydney, trying their sushi🍣, donburi🍛, yakiniku, yakitori🍢, izakaya, fusion….
D: What aspect of church life do you enjoy at CPC?
I: I enjoy meeting brothers and sisters at CPC⛪. I love chatting with them, knowing them more and learning from them.
D: How do you and Arthur support each other in ministry as you serve at Power to Change at the University of Sydney?
I: I support Arthur by journeying with him and by making myself available whenever there is a need. At church, I am working on connecting with the sisters and the new overseas students in the Mandarin service and caring for them. Arthur is very experienced in campus ministry. I learnt all my ministry skills from him. Even though he focuses on church ministry, I still ask him for advice when I have questions. He is my all-time spiritual mentor.

很盼望今天上午十時半在會友大會上見到大家。我想给大家介紹一位長老會牧者的妻子。
自 2016 年以來曾慧嫻Iris一直在校園事工裏服務，最初她是與丈夫梁偉剛傳道一起在校園裏作工。然而除了在教會服侍之外，她也是一名家庭主婦，平日也需要照顧丈夫和已開始在社會工作的女兒Stephanie。以下是我與曾姊妹的訪問。
蔡：作為夫妻，你和梁傳道平日一起喜歡做些什麼呢？
曾：偉剛和我都很喜歡享受美食，特別是日本料理。我們喜歡在悉尼探索一些新的日本餐館，去試壽司、便當、烤肉、烤肉串燒、居酒屋等等。
蔡：你喜歡長老會中哪一方面的教會生命？
曾：在長老會中我喜歡認識兄弟姐妹。我喜歡和他們聊天，因可以了解他們更多和又可向他們學習。
蔡：你如何在悉尼大學Power to Change事奉同時，也與梁傳道彼此支持呢？
曾：我支持偉剛並與他同行，他有需要時、我陪伴左右。而在教會中，我盡力與姊妹們和在國語堂的海外留學生建立關係並關懷他們。偉剛在校園事工上非常有經驗，我所有校園事工的技巧也是從他那裏學習回來的。儘管他現在專注於教會事工，但當我有問題時，我仍會向他請教。他是我恆常的靈裏導師。
